Filterbag Type CarboBag
The new developed filterbag CarboBag is filled with activated carbon and can be supplied in size 1 and 2.
The amount of the activated carbon is 1,5 kg for size 1 and 3 kg for size 2. As a standard we use high efficinency carbon from coconut shells. We could also bring in activated carbon specified by customers demand.
Way of working/construction
The filterbag CarboBag is made of two layers of polypropylene needlefelt. Inbetween those layers is the activated carbon without any binding agents. This design has the advantage of a high contact time between the media and the activated carbon. The activated carbon itself will be held back by the downstream pp needlefelt layer and will not be migrated to the downstream process. All seams are ultrasonic welded. The seal to the housing is done by a standard poly propylene collar. This ensures a sealing without any bypasses. The collar has two integrated hand grips for easy changeout. On customers demand the bag could also be delivered with a metal- or plastic ring.
